● Installation & Site-Specific

Unstable Composition

Expanded printmaking, memory layers, and active architecture within an open, constantly evolving system.

This site-specific installation is built from textile fragments intervened through expanded printmaking, stenciling, and collage. Each piece, swatch, print, or trace functions as an autonomous unit and, simultaneously, as part of an open system activated at the moment of installation. There is no predetermined composition. The artwork unfolds in space through situated, contingent decisions that respond to the host architecture.

"The project shifts from traditional printmaking logic toward a fluid, adaptable territory. Stitched, layered, or subtly juxtaposed fabrics operate as memory layers inscribed with repetitive gestures, organic matrices, and visual rhythms."

The repetition of shapes does not attempt to settle a motif, but rather to create tension between the recognizable and the abstract, between form and trace.

Within the exhibition space, modules are placed directly onto walls, corners, and architectural features, forming an immersive rather than linear journey. The installation expands through addition and contact. Pieces overlap, touch, or break apart, creating areas of density and pause. This structure reflects an almost organic logic, where the composition emerges as an active "field" rather than a singular image.

Openness & Dialogue with the Site

The spontaneous nature of the installation responds directly to the space. Architecture is not a neutral backdrop, but an active agent shaping tension, scale, and color dynamics.

Surface as an Unstable Archive

Traces, transparencies, and print remnants evoke cumulative processes where time settles in layers. The tactile flexibility of textiles contrasts with the rigidity of the gallery walls.

Unstable Composition ultimately proposes an expanded form of painting that moves into installation art, where the image is no longer centralized but transformed into a fragmented territory. The artwork is not viewed from a single vantage point; it is traversed, discovered, and reconstructed through the viewer's experience, inviting them to inhabit an ever-reorganizing space.
