Julián Rodríguez Vigo

Visual artist, educator, and storyteller

I am a visual artist, educator, and storyteller. Born in Buenos Aires in 1974, I have been developing a body of work focused on drawing, painting, and character creation for over thirty years. I work with mixed media, ink, crayon, collage, and stencil, with a special interest in gesture, color, and transformation as expressive drivers. My production is constantly connected to the everyday and the natural world.

Exhibitions & Career Highlights

I have participated in solo and group exhibitions in provincial museums, cultural centers, and independent art spaces across Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Peru, Spain, and the United States. Highlights include:

• Lambe Lambe Festival (São Paulo), pasteup projects in Buenos Aires/Lima, and ephemeral art exhibition in New York (2018)

• Ongoing participation in BADA art fair (Buenos Aires Directo de Artista)
